What songs should you play to help your child start the day?

I know your morning routine is probably all out of whack. Mine has been, that's for sure! Maybe you want to get back into a routine, even if it looks completely different than before. Maybe you just want to get your kids on a schedule and get routine back into THEIR lives. How do you fight the grunts and groans? Play music!

Lifehacker has come up with a list of five songs to go with each stage of your child's morning routine:

  1. Wake up and stretch: “Beautiful Day" by U2

  2. Wash faces and brush teeth: “Car Wash” by Christina Aguilera, featuring Missy Elliott

  3. Eat breakfast: “Banana Pancakes” by Jack Johnson

  4. Get dressed: “Get Ready” by The Temptations

  5. Gather up your stuff and head out the door (if applicable or save for the future!): “Send Me On My Way” by Rusted Root

Is there a song you would contribute to the list? OR do you have something fun you do to make the morning routine a more pleasant one?
