With Valentine's Day approaching, we thought we would share 5 gift ideas to give your significant other this Valentine's Day:

1. Personalized gifts

Personalized gifts are not overrated. A lot of them are practical and hold a lot of memory. Some give you comfort and warmth, such as a teddy bear with a calming smell, or a blanket with your favorite photos or even celebrity on it (just to make you smile). They're sold mostly online, but what's great about them is that your partner knows you put extra effort and love into their gift.

2. Heart-lock in a special place

There are famous landmarks around the world and even hidden gems, mostly a bridge or railing, where heart-locks with a special message are famously locked forever, or until the space is filled and cleared to make new memories. Wouldn't it be magical to visit after five years and see if it's still there? If it's not, it doesn't mean your love is gone; it means someone else's relationship has bloomed!

3. Basket of candy

Sweet treats always go a long way. Whether it's a snack between meals, for a date night while watching a film, or if you've had a long, hard day at work or doing chores. Fill a basket with your partner's favorite things and organize a date night or pamper session to support their self-care.

4. Joke gifts

Maybe you or your partner don't enjoy the conventional Valentine's Day or want to spice things up. Why not try a joke gift this year? Whether it's an oddly-written card, a funny message or image on a toilet paper roll, a small prank, or a cardboard cutout of their favorite celebrity ... we're sure your partner would enjoy a laugh as well as the sentiment.

5. Love-books

Love-books were very trendy gifts a few years ago and you can usually find them online. However, they've made a comeback and been seen in stores this year. It's basically a book about your favorite things about your partner that you fill in yourself, and ones online even animate your images and turn it into a photobook or video. If you struggle to show your love or your partner likes to read romantic novels, this gift is definitely the way to go!
