Healthy Treats for Kids

What kid (or adult) doesn't love treats!? The problem is that a lot of popular treats have high amounts of sugar and other unhealthy things. Here is a list of healthy treats for your kids to try!


  1. Freeze-dried or dehydrated Fruit

  2. Trail mix

  3. A local honey stick (in moderation, local honey can help with seasonal allergies)

  4. Pomegranate seeds

  5. Peanut Butter Banana Nice-Cream

  6. Unbuttered (or lightly buttered) popcorn

  7. Homemade popsicles

  8. Overnight oats

  9. Fruit leather (look for no added sugar)

  10. Homemade smoothie

  11. Frozen grapes

  12. Fresh berries and whipped cream


Test out one of these ideas the next time one of your kiddos wants a treat!
