Mommy, It's Me! (A List of Diverse TV Shows and Movies)

Starting with Snow White, children’s movies have had a horrible reputation for not being inclusive and showing the same types of people with the same type of stories over and over again. However, New Age Disney as well as other children's entertainment companies have strived in recent years to diversify their movies so every child can have that moment of saying, “Mommy it’s me!”
Whether you're born in America, moved here, or you just want your child to see "classic" fairy tales with characters that look like them, here’s a list of some of the best movies to add a little color to the typical black and white viewing experience.
