Here are some adult and family friendly events happening around town for New Year's Eve.

Winterfest at the Arch

Enjoy a free family-friendly New Year’s Eve at Winterfest at the Arch. The ice rink will open at 4 p.m. for ice skating all afternoon and into the evening. New to Winterfest, enjoy the festivities from the warmth of the Winterfest Igloo Village. Reserve your personal, upscale warming tent. The New Year’s Eve celebration will feature fire performers and appearances by some of your kids’ favorite characters, all while enjoying festive treats from the Sugarfire Winter Café. There will also be an early NYE countdown with a fireworks finale at 8 p.m.

Wild Lights at the Zoo

Bundle up and bring your loved ones to U.S. Bank Wild Lights, a winter wonderland filled with 1 million twinkling lights. In addition to brilliant light displays, warm up with winter-themed treats, and say hello to the animals at Penguin & Puffin Coast. The price for tickets range from $9.95-$12.95 based on being a member and day of the week. The admission includes entrance to Wild Lights and Conservation Carousel.

December 9-23 and December 26-January 2 from 5-8:30 pm.

Magic House

New Year’s revelers of all ages (even those with a bedtime!) are invited to ring in the new year a little bit early with a special Noontime New Year’s Eve celebration at The Magic House on December 31 from 10am – 2pm. Kids can dance the day away to some tunes and participate in a variety of traditional festivities including making their own noisemakers, posing with fun props and 2020-themed accessories at a photo booth and participating in an exciting countdown to the new year. Noontime New Year’s Eve activities are free with Museum admission and no reservations are required.

Top Golf

Swing in the New Year with live entertainment, an amazing menu, and unforgettable celebration at midnight. All New Year’s Eve packages include unlimited game play from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. for up to six guests, front row seats to a midnight fireworks show and party favors. The VIP experience includes exclusive access to a premium holiday dinner buffet and a bottle of bubbly to share with friends.

*Updated - Unfortunately due to Covid, Topgolf will not be doing their annual NYE package as listed on the link but they will be open and taking reservations and walk-ins all day and night.

Lots of Lights at The Family Arena

A Drive-Thru light show like no other! Lot of Lights is an amazing display of more than 1.5 million lights and features holograms, lasers and projection mapping. It is a wonderful way for families to come together and share a magical experience safely and participate in the joy of the Holiday Season. Tickets must be purchased for entry.

City of O’Fallon Celebration of Lights

Celebration of Lights is a holiday light display held at Fort Zumwalt Park. Each scene is designed and funded by local organizations, churches and businesses. Started in 1991, the event attracts more than 10,000 vehicles each year. Bundle up your family for a tour of O'Fallon's Celebration of Lights, and see Fort Zumwalt Park magically transformed by twinkling lights, holiday scenes and surprises around every corner. You can cruise through the park in your vehicle (except on Mondays). Or, book a train or carriage ride, in advance. No reservations are needed for the drive-through.
