Round Two: Resources and ideas brought on by the COVID-19 quarantine

I’m loving the support I continue to see on social media! Our community is really coming together to help spread awareness about small businesses and share educational support.
Besides the girls’ teachers, some of my teacher friends send me ideas for the girls. We try to incorporate a couple of educational activities each day.
Lots of people have recommended Cosmic Kids Yoga.
Yoga, mindfulness and relaxation designed specially for kids aged 3+, used in schools and homes all over the world.
I would say this is something geared towards younger kiddos. We have done this a few times. The first time, Charli would get in my face and laugh. Lu just watched and took it all in. The second time, Lu participated, and she had fun. She now asks for Cosmic Kids Yoga!

Decorate your own cupcakes for Easter.
Easter is going to look very different this year. Easter is one of my favorite holidays, so of course I’m bummed that my Easter traditions won’t be happening, but it’s on me to create new, happy memories. One cute thing to prepare for Easter is supporting Sweetology (a local small business) and purchase one of their Easter decorating kits. You can choose between cupcakes or cookies.
Here’s what is included in the kit:

Here are some friends decorating the cupcakes:

Another idea from Sweetology, if you or someone you know is celebrating a birthday during this Quarantine, there’s a birthday decorating kit! My birthday is coming up soon. Twist my arm, I think I may have to partake in this!!!
