Self Care Sunday: 4 great DIY face masks

This edition of Self Care Sunday is all about treating yourself, and what better way than to mix up an all natural face mask? Here are four great recipes for face masks that you can make at home:


Avocado Mask -

This hydrating mask is sure to add hydration back to your skin!

Made with:

  • 1 avocado

  • 2 tablespoons plain yogurt

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon honey

Combine your ingredients and mix well, then apply a thick layer of the mask to your face! Wear for 20 minutes and wash off with lukewarm water. This mask will soften and hydrate your skin!


Yogurt Mask -

This soothing mask helps those with more sensitive skin relieve redness and relax!

Made with:

  • 1 tablespoon plain yogurt

  • 1 teaspoon honey

  • 1 teaspoon cocoa powder

Mix your ingredients together and apply a layer of the mask onto your face! Wear for about 20 minutes and wash off with lukewarm water. This mask will be sure to leave you feeling soothed and relaxed.


Lemon Mask -


This mask is great for when your pores are clogged and can help even out your skin texture!

Made with:

  • juice of 1/2 lemon

  • 1 tablespoon honey

Mix your ingredients well for two minutes, apply a layer of your mask, and let sit for 20 minutes. Wash off with lukewarm water and enjoy those unclogged pores!


Turmeric Mask -


This mask helps to improve an uneven skin texture and tone your skin!

Made with:

  • 1 tablespoon plain yogurt

  • 1 tablespoon honey

  • 1 tablespoon turmeric powder

Combine your ingredients well, apply a layer of your mask, and wear for 20 minutes. Wash off with lukewarm water and relax!
